Shit howdy! I haven't been on here in a couple years! Sorry folks! I started this thing and the people that were helping me bailed! But, I have some new investor who is investing in this site....which means I can pay some programmers to take it to a better level.
What should I add? I am going to add a player to each band profile so you can hear the music before you download it.
And, duh, the streaming mohawkradio will be back up and dependable. THis is sort of pirate radio because I had to piggyback the stream off different servers and would get caught. Now we will have the bandwidth legit.
What do you think about an MohawkRadio App so people could listen to the stream from their phones? WE have new unheard bands added to the stream everyday!
HELP TELL WHAT ELSE! I WANT TO MAKE IT COOL FOR THE BANDS THE SHARE THEIR MUSIC AND FUN FOR THE VISITORS AND RADIO LISTENERS!

Holy-fucking-shit, the dead are walking... glad to see you alive and kicking man! well, answering the questions: the audio player on profiles is a must, no doubt there. Wish I could give my input on all that "apps & widgets" stuff, but I'm stuck with my regular and boring phone, I would say that, since it's a trend and the objective is to get more and more listeners, that's a good idea. Talking about getting more people here, it would be a good idea to expand the "social network thievery" to facebook and twitter, you know, it's been a while since myspace is running downhill without brakes... Web 2.0 ring any bells? maybe some flash or html5 content here and there, oldschool rules, but it's not that marketable these days.
Regarding the website, please, make it leaner, it's kinda boring watching the same old sections without new content, and I'm not talking about news, reviews and stuff (those need A LOT of help too), I'm talking about the links, FAQs, unreachable contests, podcasts (*cough*) and the stuff down there, you know, just keep it simple and user friendly.
Maybe benchmarking (taking a look at other similar sites) soundcloud and bandcamp, you know, sharing songs, let users embed songs into their profiles, facebook or other social networks, that kind of stuff (tho, that could be a true bandwidth hog!)
As far as I know (or care) that's what makes a "good" website, user interaction and the ability to show off.
Well, lots of the same, if something else comes up I'll post it.
